The Agent Design Lab

Four weeks. One real workflow from your team. A peer group of operators. By the end you walk out with a designed agent spec, a real cost estimate, and a 30-day plan to ship it.

FormatFour weekly 90-minute calls, liveSizeFive to eight operators per groupCadenceQuarterlyInvestment$1,000per seat

Each week ends with an artifact you keep.

Calls happen live. Between calls, a shared workspace and a Slack channel. No LMS, no certificate hunt, no busywork.

Week One

Map the work

Agent types and what makes a workflow agent-ready. Each attendee presents 2 to 3 candidate workflows from their org. Group and facilitators score them on impact and feasibility.

OutputRanked workflow shortlist. One workflow chosen for the Lab.

Week Two

Design the agent

Architecture, data sources, decision logic, outputs, integrations. Each attendee maps their workflow as a system. Josh adds the "here is the stack and model we’d actually use" call.

OutputOne-page agent spec per attendee.

Week Three

Risks, edge cases, ownership

Failure modes, data sensitivity, rollout, change management. Build vs. buy vs. NVG8 vs. no-code. Internal stakeholder alignment. Cost and timeline estimates.

OutputRisk register, rollout plan, and a defensible budget ask.

Week Four

Ship plan

Each attendee presents their final spec to the group. Real build estimate from someone who builds these for a living. 30-day next-action plan with named owner.

OutputShippable spec plus a concrete plan for who builds it.

A real spec. A real estimate. A real plan. Not a certificate.

A ready-to-build agent spec

Architecture, stack, data sources, decision logic, outputs, all for a real workflow from your org, designed against real constraints.

A risk register and rollout plan

Failure modes you mapped, data-sensitivity decisions, change-management plan, and stakeholder alignment notes.

A real cost and timeline estimate

From an operator who builds these. Not a vendor sales-deck number. Lets you walk into a budget conversation prepared.

A 30-day go-live plan

Named owner, sequenced next actions, and a checkpoint cadence so the spec doesn’t die in a drawer.

Who it’s for

Sales leaders, ops and RevOps managers, founders, and individual operators who already have a workflow in mind and want structured time, plus an experienced builder’s eye, to turn it into something real.

If you came through an Agent Design Hour and want the deeper engagement, this is it. We apply a $500 credit from the Hour toward your first Lab seat.

Eight seats per Lab. Tell us what you’d work on.
